From incorporation Lime Street has embraced the traditional Lloyd’s model whereby Lloyd’s brokers were the entrepreneurs charged with seeking out assureds and distributing innovative insurance products throughout the world. These products are developed in conjunction with the London Underwriters based both at Lloyd’s and elsewhere in the insurance centre of excellence based around Lime Street and the surrounding streets.
Operating from our office in London we do not seek to compete with our clients in their own domestic markets but rather seek to build strong relationship with key partners in each location.
As an independent broker we are currently distributing a range of insurance products throughout the world.
North America
Ever since the San Francisco earthquake of 1906 North America has represented one of Lloyd’s major markets and currently generates over 40 per cent of the market’s premiums.
As a broking house that values its own independence we welcome the opportunity to work in partnership with a network of independent wholesale brokers who are confronted with contracting choices of independent partners as the broking market consolidates.

Without question there is no more volatile area in the world than the MENA region consequently cedants and their assureds are seeking to protect both their personnel and assets, in many cases for the first time.
Over the past five years Lime Street has built up strong relationships with its business partners throughout the region but with a strong emphasis on the Maghreb where we are assisting clients in Libya, Morocco and Tunisia and sub-Saharan Africa.
